The work shows the American leader nude, holding a long golden staff and sitting on the shoulders of a shorter man. The artist stated that the work, also known by the name King of Injustice, is coated with 23-carat gold. Next to the statue, there are cards explaining that the King of Injustice is "sitting on the back of a man" who is sinking under the weight. "I would do anything to help him. Except get off his back," says the text on the card, in which the artist blames Trump for hindering efforts to tackle climate change. Possible Trump reaction? Trump makes publication about elections in Brazil The statue, located in a passage connecting two of the Parliament's buildings, is expected to remain on site until this Thursday (8). The left-wing Danish MEP Per Clausen, who invited the artist, said he was not concerned about a possible reaction from Trump. "If someone is so susceptible that they cannot tolerate the display of this sculpture in the European Parliament, then they have no place on the world stage," said Clausen. The US President has not commented on the statue, which has also been exhibited in other European cities, as well as at the UN Climate Change Conference (COP30), in Belém, in 2025.
