United Kingdom: Protests in London
An activist has disrupted a stall at the World Travel Market in ExCeL London that was advertising holiday homes in occupied territory, confronting the promotion of illegal settlements built on stolen Palestinian land in violation of international law. The advertising went ahead in the heart of London after Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband pledged in September to ban the advertising of illegal settlements in the UK.
