Field sources told 'Al-Masdar Online' that government forces and the popular resistance were able to recapture Iswan village and Al-Irsad school in the Muratiba 'Asila in Jabal Habashi district west of Taiz, following confrontations with the Houthi militia. In Bani Umar front in the southwestern part of the governorate, government forces and the resistance launched a counter-attack, regaining positions that the Houthi militia had controlled on Thursday, according to the sources. Sources added that government forces repelled a fierce Houthi attack in Rasn front, inflicting casualties to the militia and equipment, while the latter deployed military reinforcements to combat axes, including dozens of crews and armored vehicles.
