Ukraine: Explosions/remote violence in Sumy

School, residential buildings, a cemetery, and a church – all of this was damaged today by Russian KABs in Sumy," - OVA Oleg Grigorov, head of the Sumy OVA, reported that the Russian Armed Forces attacked a school with KABs on September 29 during the educational process: "About 70 children and staff of the institution were in shelters. This is precisely what saved them. The school building is severely damaged." Two more strikes hit private residential buildings in different parts of the city. Rescuers recovered the bodies of two deceased from under the rubble – a 70-year-old woman and a 74-year-old man. One of the KABs hit the territory of the Central City Cemetery. Graves and monuments were damaged, and windows were broken in the church. "Today, nine people were injured, including three children. Dozens of residential buildings, educational institutions, other civilian objects, and cars were damaged. The enemy attacks the regional center with guided aerial bombs daily. Since the beginning of the year, Russia has carried out more than 150 strikes on the city of Sumy alone. KABs remain one of the most severe and complex threats for the border regions," reported Grigorov.
