Tajikistan: Event in Dushanbe
Every year from October 1 to November 30 in Tajikistan the autumn conscription for military service takes place. In 2003 the 'Asia-Plus' journalist decided not to write just about the army, but to become a new recruit for one day. She put on a military uniform, passed tactical training, learned how to disassemble an automatic weapon, and became acquainted with army life.
