Indonesia: Strategic developments in Jakarta
The National Environmental Agency will, in accordance with the "Transboundary Haze Pollution Act", issue a "Preventive Measures Notice" to seven Indonesian companies accused of causing the recent haze, requiring them to take action to prevent the spread and recurrence of fires. Three of these companies had previously received similar notices from our authorities during the 2015 haze crisis.
