Russia: Strategic developments in Gayzevo
«If I were elected, of course, I would continue the work. Since I was not elected, let the new deputy deal with this» These are the words of Gennady Kokkov, a candidate for deputy from United Russia. Before the elections he helped the residents of the village of Gayzevo in Karelia with road repair and a dangerous bridge: he brought gravel and hired a tractor driver. However, he refused to finish the work after the elections, stating that now the winner from CPRF should deal with this. The villagers, indeed, expect nothing from him, so they decided to continue the repairs themselves. Kokkov and the local resident gave detailed comment on this story to Vetr.
