Another two online stores that sold banned Russian books have been blocked in Ukraine. This concerns Knygarium and BOOBOOK, which traded products from sanctioned publishers "Eksmo", "AST" and "MYF". Among the assortment were books published in Russia after the full-scale invasion began. As reported by the State Committee for Television and Radio Broadcasting, the owners of the stores concealed information about themselves and ignored demands to remove banned literature from sale. Since July 2025, 49 online bookstores selling products from Russia and Belarus have already been blocked in Ukraine. In the first half of 2026 alone, over 1200 titles of banned books were seized from sale, almost 800 of which were offered on Prom.ua and Rozetka.
